‘The 5th Wave’ International Trailer Debuts + First Official Poster!

We have been waiting and waiting. It is finally here Wavers. We can now rejoice. Not only has the first official poster for The 5th Wave been revealed, but the first trailer for The 5th Wave has also been released.

The 5th Wave stars Chloe Grace Moretz as Cassie Sullivan, a young woman desperately trying to save her brother while staving off the aliens as they infiltrate our world in their attempt to wipe mankind out of existence. Help comes in the form of Ben (Nick Robinson), but Cassie must quickly figure out if she can trust him, or if he’s one of “the Others.” Liev Schreiber, Maria Bello and Maggie Siff also star in this intense sci-fi thriller based on the YA novel.

The 5th Wave surges into theaters on January 16, 2016.

The official Twitter for The 5th Wave has revealed the first ever still from the film. The still features Chloe Grace Moretz as Cassie Sullivan standing near a check in sign.

In the still you can Cassie standing near a sign that says Check- in. It seems to be a school. You can also see bodies on the floor in the background.

The 5th Wave is set to be released in theaters on January 29, 2016.

BREAKING: Tony Revolori joins the cast of ‘The 5th Wave’ as Dumbo!

Variety has just announced that Tong Revolori has joined the cast of The 5th Wave as Dumbo. Dumbo is the medic of the group.

Revolori most recently played Zero in Wes Anderson’s “Grand Budapest Hotel,” and just wrapped filming one of the lead roles the indie feature “Dope” opposite Zoe Kravitz.

Production for The 5th Wave has started and the film is slated to hit theaters on January 29, 2016.

Breaking: Liev Schreiber cast as Vosch in @5thwavemovie #5thwavemovie

A few months ago we got news that Chloe Grace Moretz will be playing the role of Cassie in the film adaptation of The 5th Wave. Then we got news that Nick Robinson and Alex Roe were casted as Ben Parish and Evan Walker. We most recently found out the casting for Ringer, Maika Monroe.

Now we have even more news. Liev Schreiber has been casted as the villain Vosch in The 5th Wave.

If you don’t know who Liev Schreiber is he plays Ray Donovan on Ray Donovan, Sabretooth in X-Men Origins: Wolverine and Lyndon Johnson in The Butler.

The 5th Wave is set to hit theaters on January 29, 2016.

Evan and Ben castings coming our way: Chloe Grace Moretz tweets about auditions in NYC!

In April we found our that Chloe Grace Moretz will play the role of Cassie Sullivan in the film adaptation of Rick Yancey’s The 5th Wave.

We still haven’t gotten news on our Evan and Ben.

Chloe just tweeted that she spent 3 days in NYC testing with actors to play Evan Walker and Ben Parish.
